Our Projects
We work on a diverse range of projects across the Lower Mainland with some of the most accomplished Architects, Designers, and Builders our industry has to offer. We typically employ 15-20 highly skilled craftsmen including journeyman carpenters, joiners, and furniture makers. This mix of talent allows us to bring unique skill sets to each project.
Private Residence 3
25,000 sqft of woodworking heaven! We were incredibly grateful to have been entrusted with the interior architecture of this home. Having been asked to design the interior for a client we’d never met, was challenging. To say the least. With the limited intel provided by the home owners son-in-law and daughter, we were able to establish a design focus we felt would both inspire, and offer a sense of timelessness. We drew inspiration from the homeowner’s love of nature and developed organic shapes in the profiles, details and fixtures. All of it, flavoured lightly in the French Provincial Style.
I think most of us typically measure the success of our projects based on how well things function, look and feel. Which is fair. And important. But if after completing these all-encompassing projects, you walk away calling the home’s inhabitants your friends, I think that’s also a very telling measure of just how successful a project it truly is.

Private Residence 1
This project is one of our favourites. Thanks to the homeowners affording us endless creative freedom and a blank canvas, I'm now the proud owner of an extensive American Victorian/Craftsman Style library. Given the amount of detail associated with this period (circa 1895), we were tasked with assembling and managing a team of trades capable of executing the complex old world finishes. Designing each and every room with equal attention to detail was immensely challenging but tremendously gratifying.
Virtually every interior elevation in the house was hand drawn with pencil on vellum and our team went to work on making the drawings come to life with 95% of the woodwork fabricated on site.
Private Residence 2
It is always a pleasure to work for homeowners with impeccable taste! Judge for yourself, but I think this house showcases the perfect balance of new and old. Contemporary framework and sensibilities are combined effectively with old world décor and finishes.
James Northey Finishing + Design Inc. (JNFD) did all the interior finishing, millwork installation and balustrades. JNFD also worked closely with the owners designing several custom furniture pieces throughout the house and out buildings.
Keystone Projects Ltd built this beauty, and I must say, it has quickly become one of our personal favourites.
GentlemAn's Pub
Remember Ye olde Elizabethan days? I don't either. But, I'll never forget how deep I delved into research for this Gentleman's Pub. Inspired by The Marble Hall at Hatfield House (Hertfordshire, England), this room has so many unique elements, I think we should just let the images speak for themselves.

Custom Furniture
An enjoyable part of our remit is building custom furniture for the spaces that we help bring to life. These elements can include anything from bed frames to nightstands, dining and side tables, free standing bookshelves, built-ins and fireplace mantles. We love a challenge and the opportunity to contribute to the homeowner's enjoyment of the finished product. If you can imagine it, we have the skills to develop your concept into concrete plans and build it.
Stairs
stair /ster/ noun
plural noun: stairs
1. a set of steps leading from one floor of a building to another, typically inside the building.
Stairs are more than just a necessity; they allow for maintaining design continuity and flow while transitioning to a new space. We love the challenge of creating elements in a home that provide a practical function while reflecting the designer/client's vision. Exotic woods, the use of metal and other materials all add to the opportunity to create something wonderful in itself.
